Four tips for self-care at home
Things continue to rapidly change and as of Saturday 21st March Aura Day Spa closed its doors for the foreseeable future due to the concern for not only the safety of our staff but our much loved clients in relation to Covid-19. We can’t wait to be back and beautifying you when this is all over! However, in the mean time we have put together 4 simply tips and tricks for the time ahead, because we have lots on our hands it seems!
1) Bathe The Stress Away – Okay, so we’re keeping it simple here. For all those who live alone, you maybe don’t have the luxury of a massage - so we thought we’d keep it general! A warm, relaxing bath can do wonders for your physical and mental health. This is a time to indulge yourself in relaxation, allow yourself to wind down and chill.
2) Scents for your senses – At Aura Day Spa, we are advocates of relaxing scents and oils which can help melt all your stresses away. One scent has the power to take you from stressed to relaxed in a matter of minutes. This might be by lighting a candle or using your favourite body butter - even just a spritz of perfume. This is the perfect pamper treat when you are at home.
3) Mani / Pedi Time – Nothing makes you feel just as good as having your nails done. Now, whether you’re a pro with an LED lamp and all the kit or you prefer to keep it simple, we highly recommend a fresh coat of polish to lift your mood. Pick your favourite colour as you will see your nail colour everyday!
4) Pinpoint Your Skincare Regime – You know the drill… cleanse, tone and moisturise - right? No! We urge you to lay out a proper pamper session, including full body exfoliation and moisturising. This will lift your mood and leave your skin silky smooth - like a new woman!
